Smoking causes various diseases . Some of these diseases are COPD ( Cardio Pulmonary Disease ), CHF ( congestive heart failure) , lung cancer , asthma , pneumonia and emphysema, the lungs are related diseases that smoking can cause. Other medical conditions caused or contributed to by cigarettes are arterial sclerosis , blood clots , Stokes , mouth and stomach and other cancers , birth defects, low birth weight , premature birth , abortion spontaneous. Smoking can also cause bad breath, taste things differently , and the house and clothes smell of smoke.
COPD ( Cardio )
Cardio pulmonary disease is a serious disease of the lungs and the heart rate and blood. COPD causes breathing problems and makes the ability of capillaries to bring oxygen into the blood. The exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the capillaries are not exchanged efficiently.
CHF
CHF ( congestive heart failure) is heart disease . This causes not enough blood to be distributed in the body and also causes heart tissue to die slowly. It also causes swelling because the heart is unable to pump blood properly lower end . This also causes fluid to collect around the heart and can cause heart failure .
Lung and other cancers
Cancer caused by smoking is caused by the carcinogens in cigarettes. Carcinogens are cancer agents that are inhaled from cigarettes and can also enter the body through the tobacco is smoked in a pipe , cigar or chewing causes .
Oral cancer is more likely to be caused by chewing tobacco smoking cigarettes , snuff, however cancers mouth, throat and stomach can be caused by smoking as well . Carcinogens can be established inside the body anywhere and do any type of cancer.

Asthma , pneumonia and emphysema
Asthma is a lung disease in which the bronchial tubes to spasm and tighten . This narrowing of the airways causing shortness of breath and lack of oxygen in the body and organs. Asthma also causes cells ( small nodules in the lungs to get oxygen in the blood) in the lungs, to be full of mucus and hinder their ability to transfer oxygen into the bloodstream. Asthma extremes can cause the patient to be intubated to help him breathe. Severe asthma attacks can also cause pneumonia developing .
Pneumonia is fluid in the lungs , causing the lungs to be able to fill with oxygen because the fluid in the lungs . In both asthma and pneumonia oxygen levels in the blood crises can be reduced to the point of death. Oxygen levels are carefully monitored during these two also .

Asthma and pneumonia can both be corrected if the patient stops smoking . The lung can be slowly reversed if detected early and the patient to quit soon. Emphysema is , however, is not reversible . Emphysema is permanent damage to the lungs caused by smoking and asthma and repeated from pneumonia episodes. This damage is afraid of the lungs, resulting in the loss of elasticity of the lungs.
Emphysema also causes the loss of elasticity of the lungs , the alveoli in the lungs can not deflate completely and therefore the patient can not get enough oxygen in the lungs due to the age of the air in the lungs . Also causes emphysema exhale completely trouble due to loss of elasticity of the lungs.
Old is then allowed to air in the lungs and alveoli and be more difficult for cells to exchange oxygen for carbon dioxide in the lungs. This makes the rest of the body is not getting enough oxygen to function . The patient has difficulty breathing because of these conditions.
Arterial sclerosis and stroke and blood clots in the body and lungs
Arterial sclerosis occurs when the arteries are clogged with fats that are then translated into the plate and causes the arteries to harden .
This plaque causes the arteries become blocked and causes the arteries do not carry blood to various parts of the body. Tobacco contributes to arterial sclerosis , which makes the blood sticky and combined with cholesterol in the blood and the plate becomes . Smoking increases the chances that these plaques build up in the arteries , and other contributing factors.
These plates can detach and become blood clots that completely block the arteries. Blood clots can also cause strokes . Out of the these portions of the plate and become a blood clot may enter a lung or the brain by blocking the oxygen-rich blood which must be reached to the normal operation .
Blood clots can occur anywhere in the body and cause inflammation and other symptoms depending on the location of where a clot. Blood clots in the lungs may also cause death.
